Robert Slattery speaks English and Spanish. He has been licensed as an attorney since 1981 and is a member of the Federal bar in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He has experience in a wide range of commercial areas and has extensive litigation experience. He was a candidate for State Judge in 2004 and has taken courses in a master of laws program (LLM) in international business and trade. He is a member of the American Society of International Law, American Chamber of Commerce of Peru, and is on the board of directors of the Peru – Ireland Chamber of Commerce.
